Native Eenos DNS Cluster Management

I would like to request a Native DNS Clustering feature for Eenos that allows multiple Eenos servers to share and synchronize DNS zones through a centralized DNS cluster.

It would be great if two or more Eenos servers could act as dedicated DNS cluster nodes, allowing other Eenos hosting servers to manage their DNS records remotely without running independent DNS services on every hosting server.

Suggested Features:

• Allow two or more Eenos servers to operate as DNS cluster members.

• Support dedicated DNS-only nodes and regular Eenos servers acting as DNS cluster nodes.

• Automatically synchronize DNS zones and records between cluster members.

• Allow multiple Eenos hosting servers to connect to and use the same DNS cluster.

• Automatically create, update, and delete DNS zones across cluster nodes.

• Support primary and secondary DNS configurations with automatic synchronization.

• Provide secure, authenticated communication between cluster members.

• Include a centralized DNS cluster management interface.

• Display cluster node health, synchronization status, and connectivity.

• Support automatic retry and recovery when a DNS node becomes temporarily unavailable.

• Prevent DNS record conflicts and accidental zone overwrites.

• Support IPv4, IPv6, DNSSEC, and modern DNS record types.

Why is this feature important?

Native DNS clustering would allow hosting providers to operate a shared DNS infrastructure across multiple Eenos servers.

For example, two Eenos servers could function as ns1.example.com and ns2.example.com, while several other Eenos hosting servers use these nodes to manage their customers' DNS zones.

This would simplify DNS administration, improve DNS availability, reduce infrastructure management overhead, and make Eenos more suitable for hosting providers operating multiple servers.

I hope the Eenos development team will consider adding native DNS clustering support in an upcoming release.
