Summary

Add an option in Alert Management that automatically sends newly created hosting account credentials to the server's configured contact email address.

Background

Currently, account creation notifications are primarily sent to the account owner. Server administrators may not always have visibility into newly created accounts, especially in environments where multiple resellers, administrators, or automated provisioning systems are used.

Proposed Feature

Introduce a new Alert Management setting:

Alert Management → Account Creation to Admins → Send Credentials to Server Contact Email

When enabled, EENOS will send a notification to the server contact email whenever a new hosting account is created.

Information Included in the Notification

  • Account username
  • Domain name
  • Server hostname/IP
  • Control panel URL
  • Login username
  • Temporary password (if applicable)
  • Account owner/reseller information
  • Account creation date and time

Benefits

  • Provides better visibility of new account provisioning activities.
  • Helps server administrators track newly created accounts.
  • Assists with auditing and security monitoring.
  • Simplifies troubleshooting and customer onboarding verification.
  • Useful for hosting providers managing multiple administrators or resellers.

Additional Considerations

  • The feature should be optional and disabled by default.
  • Administrators should be able to enable or disable it from Alert Management.
  • Passwords should be included only when permitted by security policies.
  • Future enhancement: allow sending notifications to multiple administrator email addresses.

Expected Outcome

Server administrators receive a copy of all new account creation credentials and related details at the configured server contact email address, ensuring better oversight of account provisioning activities.
